AES provides professional onsite service and support for pool heating systems, including both heat pumps and solar pool heating. Whether your system isn’t performing as it should, requires inspection, or is due for a professional service, our experienced team is here to help.

Heat Pump Service Inclusions:

• Check the unit for any presence of geckos, ants and vermin and lightly spray lid covers with surface spray
• Clean the area around the heat pump, to prevent any debris from interfering with the unit
• Check and repair all wall fittings and supported plumbing between the unit and pool
• Clean the coils with commercial grade coil cleaner
• Replace the condensation drain hose and ensure clear flow
• Check the level of the unit to ensure condensate water can escape
• Clean external casing with protectant cleaner
• Apply anti corrosion inhibitor to all metal surfaces including coils
• Replace flow switch
• Balance the system to ensure correct water flow and temperature differential

Solar Pool Heating Service Inclusions:

• Check collector is securely adhered to roof
• Inspect system for any leaks (walk system)
• Check loop ends are well adhered
• Check VRV is breaking open correctly and recondition if necessary (VRV has an internal rubber membrane which deteriorates over time. The VRV allows air into the system when it is not operating so the system can drain in accordance with Australian Standard)
• Check the integrity of the manifolds
• Check booster pump, empty basket and grease O-ring on hair and lint pot
• Check prime time is less than 2 minutes
• Check solar controller sensor wires and calibrate if necessary
• Inspect sensor grommets and replace if necessary
• Balance the system to ensure correct water flow and temperature differential
• Clean filtration area. Remove all debris and rubbish
